We were named one of the Best New Restaurants of 2003 by the Easy
Reader - here's what they had to say about us:

Lou E Luey's Baja Seafood Grill, Redondo Beach
Yes, it looks like a beach bar, it's in an obscure corner under the
Redondo Pier Boardwalk, and the name is ridiculous, but you just have
to eat here. As the name and location both indicate, seafood is the
specialty, but you can also get a pepper steak, rack of lamb, or
cioppino - and all for under 15 bucks! The chef here has cooked at
several prestige restaurants and country clubs but evidently likes
running his own place more, and he does it in fine style. You'll
hesitate before you go inside--everyone does--but you'll be glad you
did.
